The mighty mighty Toros are out of luck.

Kirsten Dunst shut down hopes that she might return to the Bring It On world in a potential sequel to beloved 2000 film more than two decades after it first came out. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at a screening of her new film Roofman on Monday (September 8), the Oscar-nominated actress bluntly explained that she is not interested in continuing the story after it already had a satisfying end that fans continue to enjoy even years later.

"No. I'm like leave good things where they are," she said. People reports Dunst also isn't interested in producing the hypothetical project.

The Virgin Suicides actress, now 43, added that she doesn't know what she would do with her character Torrence Shipman if a sequel were to happen.

"I don't need to put on a cheerleading outfit," she said. "I don't even know what I would — be a coach or something? Nah. Let's leave it as is."

Since the original film's release 25 years ago, the franchise has spawned several sequels with different main characters, per The Hollywood Reporter: Bring It On Again (2004), Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), Bring It On: In It to Win It (2007) and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish (2009), Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack (2017)and Bring It On: Cheer or Die (2022). The movie also inspired the stage show Bring It On: The Musical, which premiered on Broadway in 2012.
