Price Chopper/Market 32 has issued a recall for select pre-made chicken wraps due to possible listeria contamination. The wraps, sold under the Market 32 by Price Chopper brand, include Chicken Caesar, Buffalo Chicken, and Chicken Bacon Ranch varieties. These products were available in the deli/food fare section of the stores.

The recall affects wraps that are past their sell-by dates and are no longer available for purchase. However, the supermarket chain urges customers who have purchased these wraps to discard them or return them for a full refund. The recall was issued out of an abundance of caution to ensure any remaining products in customers' homes are properly handled.

The recall involves products produced by Rachael’s Food Corporation, based in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Customers who bought the wraps have been notified through Market 32 and Price Chopper’s Broadnet recall notification program, which uses purchase data and consumer phone numbers linked to the company's AdvantEdge loyalty card.

For more information, customers can contact Rachael’s Food Corporation at 413-888-1202 or Market 32 and Price Chopper at 800-666-7667. Listeria can cause symptoms similar to norovirus, and it poses a higher risk to pregnant women, newborns, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. Anyone experiencing severe symptoms should seek medical attention.
