New York Court Of Appeals Strikes Down Redistricting Maps That Favored Dems

New York's highest court is voiding maps that favor the Democratic Party. The New York Court of Appeals made its decision after seven judges yesterday criticized the map-making process after a lower court rejected the maps.

Representatives for Governor Hochul and Democrats tried to argue Republicans cannot prove the new maps violate rules on gerrymandering.
