Earlier this month, Billie Eilish announced Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles with a teaser clip, and now she's showing a little more of what fans can expect from her "cinematic concert experience" with the film's first full trailer.
“I definitely have fantasies about LA," Eilish's says in the clip. "A whole different world interwoven with my world.”
The movie will focus on the singer and her brother FINNEAS performing her latest album Happier Than Ever in its entirety at the legendary Hollywood Bowl with the help of the LA Philharmonic, but that's not all. It's also set to take fans "on a dreamlike journey through Billie's hometown of Los Angeles and its most iconic backdrops" while transforming the young star into an animated character.
“It’s a concert film, but it’s also a story at the same time, this kind of beautiful version of old Hollywood,” Eilish explains in the trailer. “And The Hollywood Bowl? It’s very timeless.”
“I’ve never done anything like this," she adds. “We all have these idealized versions of ourselves in our head. This is a dream come true.”
Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles premieres September 3 on Disney+. Watch the first official trailer above.
