While Governor Cuomo has said he won't leave office due to sexual harassment allegations, several politicians including President Biden are urging him to so.
On Tuesday, Mister Biden said the governor should resign, echoing similar calls from both Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Schumer and Gillibrand, who are Democrats, also said no elected official is above the law and that New Yorkers deserve better leadership. Democrats and Republicans in the New York State Legislature also believe the governor should step down.
