Albany County sadly remains on track to have its deadliest month since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Four more residents have passed away due to complications from the virus, bringing the death toll over the last several months to 279. Hospitalizations are also continuing to rise and have set a new record high for the third day in a row. County Executive Dan McCoy says one good sign is daily the average of new infections has fallen from 279 last week to 231 so far this week.
