Charlamagne Calls Jada Pinkett Smith's August Alsina 'Entanglement' 'Toxic'

Charlamagne Tha God shared his two cents on Jada Pinkett Smith's recent Red Table Talk episode, where she discussed her "entanglement" with August Alsina, alongside husband Will Smith.

During the Monday (July 13) episode of The Breakfast Club, the hip-hop personality didn't hold back, declaring that the actress, 48, was "dead-ass wrong" for finding comfort in Alsina, 27, when he was attempting to find help at a low point in life. "That young man came to her broken, in need of healing and her response is, 'I wanted to feel good... I hadn't felt good in a long time?' So ya slept with him? Nevermind how this young man is feeling, you just gotta get yours?" he told listeners. "That is the epitome of toxic behavior."

To be specific, Charlamagne called Pinkett Smith's approach "toxic masculine and not the divine feminine," something that he found unsettling since she gives advice on the Red Table Talk franchise. As for his take on the Smiths as a collective, The Breakfast Club personality did not like the episode’s conclusion, where the couple signed off in unison saying: “We ride together. We die together, bad marriage for life.” "What kind of message is that?" he asked, to which DJ Envy cosigned with his show colleague.

Since filming the viral episode, the couple has reportedly retreated to a swanky retreat in the Bahamas with their daughter, Willow, 19. Albany, which is part-owned by Tiger Woods, has been dubbed by Forbes as "one of the most exclusive resorts in the world."
