Our Community Cares Freedom Ride to Support Veterans

Hudson, NY, March 3, 2020 – On Saturday, May 9, 2020, Our Community Cares, Inc. along with the Emerald Guard is having a Motorcycle Run and Chicken BBQ to benefit the Veterans Fund. Proceeds will go to assist Veterans in Columbia County. The motorcycle run starts at the Plaza Diner in Hudson, with registration for bikes at 10:30 am and Kick Stands Up at noon. The run ends at Kinderhook Elks Lodge with a Chicken BBQ, live music provided by Guilty Pleasure until 4:30 pm and TJ the DJ plays until 6:00 pm, raffles and 50/50. The BBQ is open to the public.

Registration for the run, which includes BBQ will take place the day of, at 10:30 am at the Plaza Diner parking lot on Fairview Avenue in Hudson. Cost is $20 per rider.

The Emerald Guard, is a motorcycle club which promotes law enforcement and has dedicated many years of service, including their support of non-profit organizations and individuals in the community.
