Music History: Setting the Record Straight with local author Anthony Musso

The biographies of some of early rock & roll’s biggest names are clouded with inaccuracies & baseless tales. Local author Anthony Musso highlights the truth, based on personal conversations with 100 of the music industry’s leading artists who graciously shared the true stories of their landmark careers.

Join us as the Wappingers Historical Society hosts Anthony Musso on Thursday April 16th at 7pm at the Town of Wappingers Town Hall. Tony will discuss his quest to dispel countless inaccuracies in the biographies of recording artists from the early rock and roll era.

Come and learn about the music and careers of recording artists from the 1950s and early 1960s…in their own words. These are the accurate stories told to Tony by the artists themselves! Get first-hand accounts of the trials, tribulations, joys and tragedies of life on the road during the infancy of the rock and roll era. Based on personal conversations with 100 of the music industry’s leading artists. Presentation includes sound clips of legendary songs.

This event is open to the public. WHS Member admission is free, non-members donation is suggested to be $5.00. Refreshments will be served.
