Fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in a two story home, in the town of Athens.
It was reported just after 4 at 8059 Route 9W. The called told Greene County 9 1 1 that there was a fire inside the house.
We're told, the occupants got out safely, and the fire was put out quickly.
Firefighters from Catskill, West-Athens, and Athens were called to the scene.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office, State Police, and Catskill Ambulance also responded.
Route 9W was closed through the fire scene.
