Catskill Firefighters responded to The Mattress Outlet, at 275 West Bridge Street around 1 Monday afternoon, for a reported ceiling collapse and flooding in the store.
Fire official say it was a broken pipe that caused the problem. Village officials were on the scene.
Store personnel were busy moving merchandise outside to minimize the damage.
The call came in around 1.
