The Hudson Salvation Army had an excellent year last year, which has come back to haunt them.
Last year they had a goal of $62,000, but they got some very large donations the final week (THANK YOU). Those large donations pushed their totals to $73,000.
Well, that $73,000 is now their goal for this year. That's quite a mountain to climb, but with your help it can be done.
The kettles need to be out as often as possible. Call the Salvation Army to volunteer ONE HOUR of your time this holiday season. Call 518-822-1602.
Larry and the staff at Sawyer Chevrolet on West Bridge in Catskill are big supporters of the Salvation Army. They have been celebrating Christmas in Catskill for 27 years.
