Tolls on the New York State Thruway will not be going up next year.
The Thruway Authority's board of directors met Monday and passes a 2020 budget for 1.3 billion dollars, that does not include a toll increase. Thruway officials would not speculate on what 2021 holds however.
It's still planned, by the end of 2020, to eliminate all toll booths at the 52 exchanges across the state. At that point, you'll either pay with E-Z pass, or get a bill in the mail.
