A one car accident left close to 1500 in the dark tonight in Eastern Columbia County.
The crash happened on County Route 7 near Cambridge Road just after 6:30, when a car took out a pole, brought down wires, and went down an embankment.
Craryville Fire and Copake Rescue responded to the scene. They remained there for 2 1/2 hours.
Outages were reported in Copake, Craryville, Hillsdale, and Ancram.
Nyseg crews were also called. They're hoping to have everyone back up by 10:30.
Columbia County 9 1 1 says the driver refused medical treatment.
The Columbia County Sheriff's office investigated.
