Germantown firefighters and Northern Dutchess Paramedics were called to Route 9G last night, between Northern Boulevard and Block Factory Road, after a car took out a utility pole.
State Police and Firemen searched the area, but could not find the driver, who apparently fled the scene.
Crews were on the scene for about 90 minutes.
National Grid was called in to make repairs.
