Congrats to HPD's Sgt DEAN ROWE on successfully completing the "Ironman Maryland Triathlon". Dean fought off high winds and stinging jellyfish to complete the course in 16 hours, 7 minutes. The 3-time Ironman finisher had to complete a 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run in less than ideal conditions.
What makes us most proud is that Sgt Rowe races for "Team Blueline" , a non profit organization that raises money for families of officers killed in the line of duty or were otherwise seriously injured.
Dean sets a fine example for law enforcement officers, not just for physical fitness, but devotion and kindness to families in need.
