Quick action by firefighters, stopped a stove fire from spreading to the rest of the house tonight in Ghent.
Multiple fire companies responded to 2259 Route 66 around 7:10.
Arriving units reported a working fire on the stove, and were able to put it out quickly.
The home was ventilated. We've received no reports of injuries.
Firemen were back in service after a half hour.
