Hudson man, on parole, arrested on Felony drug charges

Parolee Arrested on Drug Charges

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019 the Hudson City Police Department assisted the New York State Parole Division with the execution of Parole Warrant issued for a violation of parole.

The New York State Parole Division arrested MARCUS MITCHELL, 36 yrs. old, at his residence located on upper Columbia Street. While making the arrest, parole officers and HPD detectives discovered that MITCHELL was in possession of over one ounce of cocaine, several MDMA Pills (ecstasy), and marijuana.

MITCHELL was charged with:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a class B Felony,

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, a class C Felony

Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th Degree, a class A misdemeanor.

MITCHELL was arraigned by Judge Connor in the City of Hudson Court and was remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond. He is due back in court on September 26, 2019 at 8:30am.
