Reports of a fire Thursday evening, brought a large response to 14 Fabiano Boulevard in Greenport.
The call came in around 7:45. Neighbors reported seeing flames on the outside of the building.
Greenport Fire officials called in mutual aid from Hudson, and over half a dozen companies with tankers.
We're told the fire was put out quickly, and contained to the outside of the home.
Greenport Police and the Columbia County Sheriff's Office were on scene.
