A New Lebanon man was arrested over the weekend on Animal cruelty charges.
State Police report 30 year old Daniel Bivins was charged at his home on Route 20.
Ron Perez from Columbia Greene Humane Society says conservation officer Wes Powell assisted in the seizure.
Bivins is accused of not providing food or medical care to the dog, which is now being treated at the shelter.
They say his name is "Reaper".
Daniel Bivins was given appearance tickets for town court.
