A man in his 60's was injured Thursday, after a one car accident.
A caller to 9 1 1 reported a car on Main Street was traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street and struck a tree and signs, and eventually stopped when striking a utility pole.
Cairo Fire and Ambulance responded to 130 Main Street, where the man was examined by medics.
The accident happened around 12:45.
State Police are investigating.
No word on the extent of the man's injuries.
