State Police are investigating a fatal fire in the town of Hunter

PRESS RELEASE
The State Police in Catskill are investigating a fatal fire at 13 Scribner Hollow Road in the town of Hunter. Jerry Meigs, age 29 was confirmed deceased at the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown. State Police are being assisted by the Greene County Sheriff's Office, New York State Fire and Greene County Fire Investigation Teams. This is an ongoing investigation.
