People v. Matthew Maurer: Defendant was sentenced to 1 ½ years plus 7 years post release supervision upon his conviction of Attempted Sex Abuse 1st and 1 year in jail upon his conviction of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

People v. Matthew Maurer: Defendant was convicted of the Felonies of Failure to Register or Verify as a Sex Offender and Attempted Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree. He will be sentenced at a later date.
When 32 year old Matthew Maurer of Athens was arrested in February, State Police said the victim was under 13.
