Area firefighters train for the worst

This morning, area firefighters converged on two large vacant apartment building in Hudson, that were on fire.

Well, simulated fire. The two buildings, owned by Stewarts, are scheduled to be torn down, so why not let firemen train in them. It will give them on-hands experience, with actually being able to do things they would need to do in a real fire, like tear down ceilings and destroy walls.

Crews trained their today, with their estimated schedule from 9 to 1.

It looked so real to some people passing by, we received several tips this morning, that there was a fire there.

Hope you all learned a lot today. The information will be helpful when you really need it.
