Woman airlifted to Albany after Catskill accident

A woman was airlifted to Albany Med Monday afternoon, following a one car accident in Catskill.

State Police say, the woman left Route 23a in the area of Tool House road, struck a rock embankment, and rolled over.

They think she may have suffered a medical issue before the crash.

It happened around 2:45. Catskill fire and ambulance responded.The jaws of life were needed to remove the woman from the vehicle.

The road was closed for a period.
