Sex Abuse Charges – Crumedy
On May 1, 2019, the Hudson Police department arrested 47 year old, Jamel Crumedy of Hudson on an active Arrest Warrant out of the City of Hudson Court for Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (4 counts) a class D felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (5 Counts) a class A Misdemeanor.
On May 16, 2019, Jamel Crumedy was arraigned by Columbia County Judge Nichols in the Columbia County Court after his indictment on the following charges;
Sexual conduct against a child in the 2nd Degree, a class D Felony,
Sex Abuse 1st Degree (5 counts) a class D Felony, and
Endangering the welfare of a child (5 counts), a class A Misdemeanor.
Jamel Crumedy is currently being held at the Columbia County Jail with no bail awaiting his next court appearance.
The victim of this sexual abuse is a very young child and the abuse has been ongoing for a long period of time. The City of Hudson Detectives Unit worked on this felony child sex assault case for over a month.

On May 16, 2019, Jamel Crumedy was arraigned in County Court upon being indicted for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the 2nd Degree; five (5) Counts of Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree; and five (5) Counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Honorable Jonathan D. Nichols presiding. The Court scheduled a trial for October 28, 2019. The Hudson Police Department investigated this matter and arrested Jamel Crumedy. Cheryl Coleman represents Jamel Crumedy.
