Catskill Fire and Ambulance were called to the Sunoco Mini-mart on Spring Street late Thursday morning.
The caller reported just before noon that they heard an explosion and then smelled smoke. The reported soon after that their building was on fire.
Firefighters concentrated their efforts on the rear of the building.
Catskill ambulance was seen treating a patient at the scene.
The store was evacuated. We're not sure if it is still closed.
The fire was in an air conditioning unit.
Catskill Police were also on the scene. Traffic on Spring Street was diverted.
