Milan man arrested for child pornography

Milan, New York – On May 7, 2019, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Elias M. Econopouly, age 19, of Milan, for four counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance of a Child, a class E felony.
Investigation by SP Rhinebeck and the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit developed evidence of possible child pornography. A search warrant was granted by the Honorable Judge Mcloughlin of the Dutchess County Court. Execution of the warrant found Econopouly was in possession of multiple sexual performances by children.
Econopouly was arraigned before the town of Milan Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Mattson to the supervision of Dutchess County Probation. Econopouly is next scheduled to appear before the Court on June 6, 2019, at 10:30 a.m.
