Local gas prices continue to skyrocket

It was just two weeks ago that we were talking about gas prices rising into the low 60's. Well, two weeks later some stations in the Hudson area are pushing $2.90.

Experts will give you several reasons: problems at refineries, opec cutting back, the situation in Venezuela, a switch over to summer blend.

Increases like we're seeing usually happen in May. We're a month away from Memorial Day weekend, so how much more are prices going to jump before then?

Highest prices in town: Stewarts at $2.89.
