New charges filed in Child Porn case

Update* Pine Plains man arrested for child pornography

Updated information from State Police:

**Update - Pine Plains, New York – On April 22, 2019, the New York State Police and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office filed additional charges against Nicholas J. Terilli.

The grand jury issued a criminal indictment charging Terilli with the following additional charges:

Two counts of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, a class C felony, two counts of Sexual Abuse in the 1st degree, a class D felony, two counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor. **

PRESS RELEASE

Pine Plains, New York – On March 1, 2019, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Nicholas J. Terilli, age 34, of Pine Plains, for Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, a class C felony, Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.

On February 25, 2019, Troopers responded to Main Street in the town of Pine Plains for a domestic dispute. During the domestic incident investigation child pornography was discovered. Further investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Child Advocacy Center of Dutchess County, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s office led to the seizure of multiple storage devices containing child pornography.

Terilli was arraigned before the town of Milan Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Mattson to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secure bond. Terilli is next scheduled to appear before the town of Pine Plains Court on March 7, 2019, at 12:00 p.m.
