From Columbia County Sheriff's Office:
Robert H. Conner III., 34, of Ghent, was arrested at 2:24pm April 14 and charged as a Fugitive From Justice (Felony) by Deputies Peter Merante and Philipp Gomm.
In addition, he was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree-convicted felon (Class A Misdemeanor).
The Sheriff’s Office had knowledge that Conner was wanted out of Wisconsin for a felony bail jumping warrant. He was observed on County Route 20 in the Town of Ghent and taken into custody.
Deputies also found that the defendant possessed firearms. He was arraigned in Greenport Town Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail with no bail. There is a preliminary date in Greenport Court on April 18 at 10am.
