A truck driver died this morning, after two tractor trailers collided on the Thruway in Catskill.
The crash happened around 5:30 in the Northbound lanes at mile marker 109.1.
State Police say a truck carrying mail struck another truck and caught fire.
Catskill and Kiskatom Firefighters and Catskill ambulance responded.
Police say, the mail truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, the other driver was taken to the hospital.
Northbound traffic was closed between Saugerties and Catskill for several hours.
State Police continue their investigation.
