Philmont man indicted for making a terroristic threat

From Columbia County D.A.’s Office:

On March 28, 2019, Michael Kelley was arraigned in County Court upon being indicted for Making a Terroristic Threat and two (2) Counts of Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, Honorable Jonathan D. Nichols presiding. The Court scheduled a trial for August 26, 2019.  Columbia County Sheriff David P. Bartlett's Office investigated that matter and arrested Michael Kelley. John Hillman represents Michael Kelley. Michael Kelley is presumed to be innocent unless and until the People can prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt to all twelve (12) of twelve (12) jurors. (Indictment No. 19-011)

Release from December 2018: From Columbia County Sheriff’s Office:

Michael Kelley, 34, of Philmont, was arrested at 7:55pm December 19 and charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, by Deputy Ryen Boehme.

Kelley is accused of threatening a Department of Social Service worker over the telephone. He was arraigned in Hudson City Court and was ROR. He will be back in court at a later date.
