Frightening moments on the Berkshire Spur this morning, when a tractor trailer entering a construction zone in the westbound lanes, struck a NYS DOT truck. It happened around 10:45.
Fire and rescue crews responded. We're told four were taken from the scene by ambulance, and another two later from the maintenance garage.
State Police are investigating, no word yet on if charges will be filed or not.
There were lane closures at the accident scene.
