Gas prices at some Hudson gas stations exploded Friday, jumping more than 20 cents per gallon. The Speedway on Green Street and Stewarts on Fairview jumped to 2.55 per gallon Friday.
Farther up the road it got cheaper, with Valero at 2.43, and the other three still in the 2.30's
Two weeks ago, all stations were hovering around 2.25 for most of the winter.
