A jury was seated Tuesday morning in Columbia County Court, for the re-trial of 44 year old Jeffrey Barmen. He's accused of a 2017 rape in the town of Kinderhook.
A mis-trial was declared last November, when a jury could not reach a decision.

On March 20, 2018 Jeffrey Barmen was arrested for Rape 1st after an indictment was issued by a Columbia County Grand Jury. Jeffrey Barmen was arraigned in the Columbia County Court in front of Judge Richard M. Koweek and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash S10000 bond.
