Press release from Saugerties Police:
On 3/3/19 Saugerties Police arrested 47-year-old Terrie A. Carney and 48-year-old Jamie M. Vanvalkenburg, both from Palenville NY, incidental to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Churchland Lane Town of Saugerties.
Upon interviewing the occupants of the suspicious vehicle on Churchland Lane, Officers established that both Carney and Vanvalkenburg were in possession of multiple controlled substances.
Both Carney and Vanvalkenburg were charged with the misdemeanors of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and under the New York State Public Health Law –Possession of Controlled Substance Outside the Original Container.
Carney and Vanvalkenburg were processed at police headquarters and then released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Saugerties Justice Court on 3/13/2019 at 7 pm to answer their charges.
