One in custody after reported shots fired in Catskill,
Statement from the Greene County Sheriff's Office:
Greene County SO, NYSP and Catskill Police responded to a residence on State Route 9W near the Catskill/ Athens town line for a report of shots fired. One subject was placed in custody and transported to CMH for a mental health evaluation. There was a large police presence in the area and State Route 9W was closed for a period of time. All information reported was investigated and there is no danger to the surrounding homes or public at this time. Thank you.
