Cardi B has deactivated her Instagram account after the constant hate she's received over her Grammy win.
The "Bodak Yellow" star's debut LP, Invasion of Privacy , won Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 10), making Cardi the first female rapper to achieve the honor on her own. Still, the musician's haters continued to give her grief over defeating her competition, which included Travis Scott 's Astroworld as well as Swimming by late rapper Mac Miller — the latter upset particularly disappointed Miller's ex, Ariana Grande .
Well, Cardi took to social media to address her critics last night (February 11) once and for all before ditching Instagram altogether.
"It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else," she began, referencing BET's shady tweet over Cardi's iconic win that prompted Nicki Minaj to pull out of her BET Experience show . “That’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with. I don’t support that.”
"However, I've been taking a lot of s**t today, I'm seeing a lot of bulls**t today and I saw a lot of s**t last night and I'm sick of this s**t," the lyricist exploded in the profanity-charged clip. "I worked hard for my motherf**king album."
"I f**king worked my a** off, locked myself in the studio for three months," she continued, adding that she sometimes went "four days straight" away from home while she was still pregnant with her daughter, Kulture. "While everybody was harassing me like, 'You’re not gonna do it, we know you pregnant, your career’s over."
