Hensonville, NY man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. more than twice the legal limit after leaving the scene of an accident.

PRESS RELEASE
Catskill, NY – On February 4, 2019, at approximately 10:56 a.m., State Police responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on I-87, at the Catskill Thruway Interchange. The uninjured driver left the scene but his vehicle became disabled on the northbound exit ramp. The driver Brett E. Gooss, 50, of Hensonville, NY, was found to be intoxicated and was transported to SP Kingston where his blood alcohol content was determined to be a .20%. He was subsequently charged with the following:
- Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor
- Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Gooss was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Catskill Court on February 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
