I am searching for relatives of my grandfather Perry who was born in Copake.
A woman called Stemerdink posted the following : My great-grandfather was Cornelius Williams born Dec 18, 1828, died Aug 16, 1891. First wife was Mary, born May 16, 1842, died March 16, 1869, one hild - Cora.
Cornelius married second wife, Catherine Schwartz, born April 6, 1849, died June 18, 1890. Family history says that the First wife Mary was a native. second wife Catherine was an orphan living in an orphanage.
Cornelius and Catherine had following children: Parker C; Maryette (married a Wickham moved to Philmont N.Y.);
Ida (married Brothers); Ward; Perry; Norman - my grandfather, born Aug 27, 1885, died Dec 18, 1961; Cornelius; Ella.
My grandfather Norman settled in Kitchener Ontario, Canada in about 1926. His brother Perry settled in Dunville, Onario, Canada.
