Light Snow arriving tonight, Possible big one late Saturday

Snow is expected to move across Columbia and Greene Counties tonight, into tomorrow morning. The forecasters are saying this one will be very light. Here is what Channel 13 is calling for:

SUNDAY EVENING...

 

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations in excess

of 9 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph Sunday

afternoon and evening.

 

* WHERE...Southern Vermont, western Massachusetts, and the Capital

District, Lake George Saratoga region, southern Adirondacks,

Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley, Catskills, and northern and

central Taconics in New York.

 

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.

 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to

impossible due to heavy snow. Blowing snow could result in

reduced visibilities Sunday afternoon and evening.
