People v. Raymond Saunders: Defendant entered a plea of guilty to Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and will be sentenced to State Prison at a later date.

A Grand Jury of Greene County handed down an Indictment against Raymond F. Saunders, age 27 charging:
3 Counts Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree: Narcotic Drug, heroin;
3 Counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree: Narcotic Drug w/Intent to Sell, and
1 Count Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Saunders was arrested on the Indictment on 8/30/2018. Saunders was arraigned before the Hon. Charles M. Tailleur, Greene County Court Judge and remanded to jail on bail of $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond.
This arrest comes after a detailed investigation conducted by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, in conjunction with the New York State Police, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Catskill Village Police Department.
