Saratoga man arrested for grand larceny

Chatham, New York – 

On January 5, 2019, the New York State Police from Livingston arrested Nicholas A. Scialdone, age 52, of Saratoga, NY, for Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree, a class C felony.

Investigation found Scialdone was hired as a contractor to perform services for a local Chatham business. Scialdone cashed three checks totaling over $90,000, but failed to perform the work agreed upon.

Scialdone was arraigned before the town of Claverack Court, and released in the amount of $10,000 cash bail. Scialdone is next scheduled to appear before the Court on January 8, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
