Greenport Firefighters were called to 5500 Route 9H Tuesday afternoon for a reported chimney fire. Arriving crews found that a pellet stove had started a fire in a wall.
The fire was put out quickly and the home ventilated.
The call came in just after 2. There were no reported injuries
