Press Release – Hudson Man Stabbed
At 8:33pm the Hudson Police Department was notified that Columbia County 911 received two calls reporting a large fight at Bliss Towers, 41 N2nd Street. Patrols responded and called out at the scene one minute later and found a 31 year old male with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He was transported by Greenport Rescue Squad to Albany Medical Center where, as of this hour, he is still undergoing emergency surgery. The victim is a resident of Hudson.
HPD Uniform officers and Detectives are currently on scene collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
HPD was assisted at the scene by units from the New York State Police and Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, as well as members of the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office.
