Domestic Violence Arrest w/ Weapon
On Tuesday, July 14, 2021, the Hudson City Police Department arrested 59 year old, Darlene
Scott of Hudson New York. Scott was charged with Assault 2 nd Degree – intentionally causing
injury with a weapon, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession with a weapon 4th degree , and Endangering the Welfare of a child (both class A misdemeanors)
On Tuesday, July 14, 2021, the City of Hudson Police received a call reporting a domestic
dispute involving a knife. The caller reported to police that a person had been stabbed.
HPD responded to the 300 block of State Street and found a 36 year old male subject with a laceration to his left thumb.
The victim refused medical treatment for his injuries. Scott was arrested on scene.
Detectives responded and assisted with the investigation. Scott was arraigned in Hudson City Court by Judge John Connor. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to return to court on July 14, 2021 at 830am. The Judge issued an order of protection for the parties involved.
