City of Kingston
• DWI:Roberto Lopez Hernandez, 28, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff's deputies shortly after midnight Wednesday, Feb. 24, on Washington Avenue in the city of Kingston and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, all misdemeanors, as well as several traffic infractions. Hernandez was issued a ticket for Ulster Town Court. Kingston police assisted at the scene.
• DWI:Miguel L. Salas, 45, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff's deputies just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, on Oak Street in Kingston, and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Salas was issued a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
• Drugs:Gina M. Woodbeck, 49, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Catskill, and was charged with manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Woodbeck was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
•Drugs:Ryan W. Benzeno, 35, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the town of Catskill and was charged with manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
•Failure to pay:William K. Marino, 40, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, and was charged with failure to pay for service based on stealth, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Livingston
•Endangering:Tina Smith, 62, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, and was charged with endangering an incompetent person, a misdemeanor, stemming from an incident reported on April 24, 2020, in the town of Greenport. Smith was issued a court appearance ticket.
Lloyd
• DWI:Melissa M. Saint Amand, 46, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:42 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the town of Lloyd and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Rhinebeck
•DWI:Danielle C. DiStefano, 34, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the village of Rhinebeck and was charged with drunken driving (first offense), a misdemeanor. She was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Village Court.
Saugerties
•Endangering:Jarmel M. Anderson-Fialkow, 47, of Kalina Drive, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties Police on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and was charged with attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors. Officers had responded to his residence about 12:44 a.m. following a report of a physical dispute, and determined that Anderson-Fialkow had struck a person in the left eye, causing injury. At the time, a 9-year old child and an infant were present, police said. Anderson-Fialkow was arraigned in Saugerties Justice Court and released pending a court appearance.
•Drugs:Charles A. Servo, 46, of Ruby, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Saugerties and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Servo was issued an appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI:Lindsey Atherton, 23, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the town of Ulster, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
