Kingston
• False Personation: James F. Green, 31, of the town of Ulster, was charged Sunday, Feb. 21, at about 9:30 p.n. with false personation, a misdemeanor, according to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office. Deputies said Green supplied them with a false identification during a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in Kingston. Green was also wanted on a felony warrant from New Jersey on drug charges, deputies said. He was being held without bail at the Ulster County Jail, deputies said.
Cairo
• Drugs: Krisanne Clevenstine, 45, of Leeds, was arrested Sunday, Feb. 21, in Cairo and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors, according to state police at Catskill. Clevenstine was issued an appearance ticket, police said.
• Drugs: Glenn M. Crews, 24, of Hillsdale, was arrested Sunday, Feb. 21, at about 6:29 p.m. in Cairo and charged with manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia, criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, misdemeanors, according to state police at Catskill. Crews was issued an appearance ticket, police said.
Ellenville
• Weapons, Obstructing: Jajuan Dixson, 20, and Brianne Porter, 27, both of Liberty, were arrested at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, in Ellenville, according to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office. Dixson was charged witobstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, deputies said. Porter was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, deputies said. During a traffic stop, Dixon fled the scene but was caught later and had a small quantity of marijuana on his possession, deputies said. Porter was found in possession of a stun gun, deputies said, adding that they were both issued appearance tickets.
Lloyd
• DWI:John A. Smack, 21, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Sunday, Feb. 21, and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to the town of Lloyd Police Department. The vehicle Smack was driving was involved in an accident on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55, police said. He was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Lloyd Town Court on Thursday, March 11.
Town of Rochester
• Criminal contempt:Richard J. DeMorest, 52, of Kerhonkson, was arrested Sunday, Feb. 21, at about 11:30 a.m. and charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, according to state police at Wawarsing. No further information was available.
