The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Cairo
· DWI:Matthew T. Farrell, 53, of East Durham, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:24 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, and charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08% and drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Farrell was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
· Burglary/assault of a child/endangering:Tiffany D. Shaw, 34, of Catskill, and Tina T. Lewis, 36, of Hudson, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:42 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8. Shaw was charged with the felonies of assault of a person under the age of 7, burglary of a dwelling and criminal mischief (property valued at more than $250), and with the misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief (damaging property). Lewis was charged with the felonies of burglary of a dwelling and criminal mischief (property valued at more than $250), and with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Both Shaw and Lewis were released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Hyde Park
· DWI:Andrew W. Gordineer, 24, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 11:33 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, and charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08% and drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Gordineer was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.
Livingston
· Possession of stolen property/weapon:Tony T. Newell, 32, of Nanticoke, Prince Edward Island, Canada, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 11:57 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, and charged with the felonies of possession of stolen property (firearm) and possession of a weapon (loaded firearm). Newell’s status was not immediately available.
Lloyd
· Drugs:Charles A. Servo, 46, of Ruby, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, and charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Servo was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
